Malala Becomes Youngest U.S. Messenger of Peace
本文 Pakistani youth activist Malala Yousafzai, 19, has become the youngest person ever to be named United Nations (U.N.) Messenger of Peace. The United Nations is an international organization meant to encourage countries to work together on conflicts and polices without the use of war.

Yousafzai has accepted the role with a special focus on girls’ education, the BBC reports. Messengers usually stay in the position for three years. “If you want to see your future bright, you have to start working now [and] not wait for anyone else,” she said at the acceptance ceremony in New York City.

In 2012, Yousafzai was almost killed by the Taliban for her efforts to get equal education for young girls in Pakistan. She has since then become a symbol for peace and girls’ right to an education. Yousafzai joins current U.N. messengers Jane Goodall, Yo Yo Ma, Stevie Wonder, and others.

今回は英語を含めた「学習法（教育法）」の一つについて話そうと思います。

その一つが、教師と生徒との間の徹底した「質疑・応答型」授業で、その内容は下記のとおりです。

① 教師は、「教科書や問題解答の解説者になってはいけない。生徒の途中解答はどの段階にあってもすべて正解である。真の正解に至るまでどのように指導するかが教育の本質につながる。」

② 生徒は、「与えられた問題を解答するに当たって、あらゆる知恵を絞ってあらゆる資料を調べて解答に迫る。その調査法や調査の時の障害物を教師に質問する。自分なりの学習プロセスを確立する。」

要するに、授業の在り方は生徒を中心とした教師と生徒との間の徹底した「質疑・応答型」なのです。
